2019 Photo Competition: Winners Announced

This year’s Library Photography Competition attracted some very impressive entries from a number of Hillcrest students and staff. We loved seeing the submissions flow in, and we would like to thank and congratulate all those who entered. Mr Andrew Smith, our former long-time College librarian, judged the competition for all categories, which included: Years 3 - 6, Years 7 - 9, Years 10 - 12 and Staff. We are very pleased to announce that the 2019 Overall Winner was awarded to our Year 6 student,Seth Franklin, from 6MB. Well done Seth on your composition and creativity, in keeping with this year’s theme of GROW. All photos can be viewed at the Main Library up until the end of Term 4, 2019.

OLIVER LAUNCH PARTY Next Thursday the 29 th of August from 10:30-2 we are holding a Launch Party in the Library to celebrate our new library system Oliver. This system can be accessed via the Hillcrest Library website from any desktop or tablet device, allowing everyone to discover library and learning resources 24/7 in school, from home or on the go. You can login to your own record, check your loans and borrow e-books.
